Nurse Paginator / Analyst

Based in Macclesfield or Remote Working

We are seeking a nurse paginator / analyst to join our growing team, and apply their clinical experience to assist victims of clinical negligence across a variety of different case types. The successful candidate will play a key role in the evaluation of cases, the preparation of chronologies, and assessment of case merits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the viability of potential clinical negligence cases
  • Reviewing and analysing sets of medical records
  • Categorising and paginating bundles of medical records
  • Preparing chronologies
  • Undertaking research and considering the relevant professional guidelines to form opinions on case merits following review of medical records, as well as highlighting key issues such as breach of duty and causation

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Clinical experience, preferably 2 years post-qualification experience as a registered nurse
  • Demonstrate sound medical knowledge and a clear understanding of medical records
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • It is preferred but not essential to have previous pagination experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office

Legal Cashier

Based in Macclesfield  – Full Time (37.5 hours p/w)

We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join our accounts team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and compliant handling of client and office account transactions in accordance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and posting all client account transactions, including receipts, payments, bills and transfers.
  • Completing daily account reconciliations.
  • Always ensuring strict compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
  • Preparing, processing, and posting bills in line with case progression.
  • Managing transfers between client and office accounts.
  • Handling all monies in and out of client accounts promptly and accurately.
  • Supporting the wider accounts team with office account transactions as required
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within Proclaim case management system.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
  • Liaising with fee earners and support staff to resolve any accounts-related queries efficiently.
  • Assisting with compliance audits and ensuring best practice financial management.

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a UK law firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.
  • Proficiency in Proclaim case management system.
  • Experience processing office account transactions (preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
  • The ability to proactively manage workload independently and as part of a team.
