The Role:

Working within the Client Relationship Team you will be the first point of contact for all new clients via our website adverts.
You will be passionate about providing the highest levels of service to our clients, have excellent interpersonal skills gained from a customer service background.

You will be working in a paperless office using up to date technology supporting solicitors who are based both in the office and remotely.

The role is varied and tasks will include (but not be limited to);

  • Answering telephone calls and emails from prospective clients, capturing marketing information accurately.
  • Inputting client information on the case management system, ensuring a strong attention to detail and that all data is accurate.
  • Reviewing and collating client documentation
  • Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Managing your time and maximising your availability to ensure all client queries are answered in a timely manner.
  • Complying with the firm’s policies and procedures and undertake all instructions efficiently.
  • Championing the firm, alongside our values and ethics.

About you:

  • IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail and an ability to present relevant information in a clear concise manner.
  • Enthusiastic to learn
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to focus and follow processes correctly and consistently

Credit Controller

Based in Macclesfield 

Nicholson Jones Sutton Solicitors are looking for a Credit Controller to join their busy accounts team.

You will manage a case load of files where payments are due in from Third Parties and will focus on ensuring payments are made to the firm within a strict timely manner.

You will ensure the third party has all the relevant information in order to make the payment and ensure payments are chased by telephone and E-Mail as well as escalating any issues with payments not being received following the company’s standard procedures.

Housing Disrepair Fee Earner (1 year + PQE or equivalent experience) – Full Time

The successful candidate will represent clients in relation to their Housing Disrepair Claims.

Based in Macclesfield (although will consider candidates working from home), working within an established and expanding Housing Disrepair Team.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following knowledge and experience –

  • Ability to manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims
  • Legal Knowledge of the Housing Conditions pre-action protocol
  • Legal knowledge of the CPR and fast-track litigation process
  • Review reports from Surveyors
  • Carry out quantum assessments/reviews and formalising case plans
  • Ability to run issued, fast track matters with minimal supervision.
  • To effectively act upon court directions and to prepare matters for trial
  • Experience of using Proclaim case management system
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation and admin skills
  • Communication skills:  written and verbal
  • Ability to work individually or part as a team
