Amanda Nicholson, Chris Jones and Justine Sutton, the Directors, share a passion to help people with some of the very complex legal situations that they confront every day.

With combined experience totalling over 60 years, they wanted to find a way to make exceptional legal advice more accessible for everyone.

Amanda qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and has extensive litigation experience. Amanda set up her own firm in 2009 and guided the firm towards its successful transition into an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) in early 2013. The firm has recently rebranded as Nicholson Jones Sutton Solicitors to focus on a number of key specialist areas offered in addition to the firms long-standing core business of Personal Injury Litigation.

Head of Finance and Administration (COFA)

Chris is a business man with a long history of successful operations in the legal sector, and has been heavily involved in media marketing for many years.

Chris is the Head of Finance and Administration and is responsible for the Company Operations and Development. In his personal time, Chris spends time on the family farm where they keep horses.

He also enjoys walking his dogs, both at the farm and at their holiday home on the beach in Abersoch.

Justine has over 19 years’ experience practicing in law, and is Head of Litigation here at NJS. In her personal life, Justine enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.

Leanne Henton

Technical Litigation Manager

Leanne studied the Bar Vocational Course at the BPP Law School in Leeds, and graduated with Very Competent, before cross-qualifying as a Solicitor in 2013.

She joined the firm in 2009 as a Personal Injury Fee Earner, dealing with various matters including Road Traffic Accidents, Employment and Public Liability, and Medical Negligence.

Leanne progressed onto a Litigation Team Manager role in 2015, managing a team of RTA Personal Injury Fee Earners, and further on to Technical Litigation Manager in 2020, working closely with the Directors to ensure the success of the RTA Personal Injury Department.

Throughout 2022, in addition to her work in the RTA Personal Injury Department, Leanne has been heavily involved in the development of the Family and Data Breach Departments.

In her personal life Leanne enjoys spending time with her young family.

Nicola Harrison

Practice Manager

Nicola has over 17 years’ experience in the legal profession as well as people management, and works closely with the Directors and Senior Management Team to monitor operational performance.

She was born and brought up in Cheshire and has two children.

Nicola joined the firm in March 2013 and has helped the company thrive year after year. She loves how hands on the Directors are and that everyone pulls together to get the best results for both the clients, and business as a whole.

Adele Whittle

Head of Strategy & Development

Adele is a qualified solicitor with over 20 years experience working in the legal sector, predominantly within Litigation.

Adele joined the firm in March 2021 and is the member of the management team responsible for the firms strategy, including the growth of a number of key areas of legal practice, heading up the Housing Disrepair and Probate Teams. She also has a keen interest in technology, in particular automation, and will be working on optimising the firm’s processes.

In her spare time Adele enjoys walking the family cockapoo, watching her son play sport, travelling to new places and is obsessed with all things interiors!
