2. What cookies are

Many of the services described on this website relate to health, medical treatment, and injuries arising from crime or abuse. Information about which of those pages a person has viewed is capable of revealing something sensitive about them.
For that reason, we do not allow advertising or analytics cookies to operate on the pages within these sections of our website, and we do not transmit the addresses of those pages to advertising providers or use them to build advertising audiences:
