Alex Hardman is an Assistant Financial Director at NJS Law and brings a strong background in legal finance and accounting operations. He studied Mathematics with Finance at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2018, before beginning his career in legal finance later that year.
Since entering the legal sector, Alex has progressed through a variety of roles including Junior Legal Cashier, Onboarding Manager, and Accounts Supervisor, before becoming a Management Accountant in 2021. His broad experience across finance operations and legal accounting has given him a detailed understanding of financial processes within law firms and the importance of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Alex joined NJS Law in 2025 and plays an important role within the finance team, supporting financial reporting, operational processes, and the continued development of the firm’s financial systems and controls.
He also holds a Fellowship of the Institute of Legal Finance & Management (FILFM), having achieved the qualification in 2024 and obtaining the highest mark in the country for the Tax module — a reflection of his technical expertise and commitment to professional excellence.
Outside of work, Alex recently moved to Macclesfield and enjoys exploring the Peak District and everything the local area has to offer with his partner.
