If you are currently going through Divorce proceedings you may be wondering what happens to the assets of the marriage. What will happen to the family home, your pension, your savings? In the first instance the parties will be encouraged to try and resolve any issues by way of mediation. If agreement cannot be reached by mediation then the parties will need to go through the Court process for resolving the issues. Here at NJS we can help with every step of the process.

Are you being refused contact to your children? Have you attempted to communicate with the other parent? Is contact still being refused? If so, we will be able to help you. You and your ex-partner will be encouraged to try and resolve any contact issues by mediation. However, if this is not possible then you can formally ask the Court to make an Order outlining arrangements for contact with your children, as well as other issues such as which school they will go to and when they will be allowed to go on holiday, to name a few. We’re here to help you achieve the best outcome for you and your children.

Can I get a divorce? How much does it cost? How long does it take? Here at NJS we understand how scary the prospect of getting a divorce may seem, but we’re here to help, and will advise and guide you every step of the way.  The process starts by one party filing a Divorce Petition at the local Court, and thereafter the Court will confirm whether the legal requirements have been met for a divorce, before legally ending the marriage. As well as dealing with your divorce we can assist with other matters such as making arrangements for your children and dealing with the finances of the marriage. Contact one of our team today for more advice.
